Unlock Your Phone

To create your backup, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Make sure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. Make sure your phone is above 50% battery life, or plug it into a wall.
  3. Launch your Settings application from your home screen.
  4. Tap on your Apple ID Banner, at the top of your screen.
  5. Tap on iCloud
  6. Scroll down to tap on iCloud Backup
  7. Tap on Back Up Now

Erase Your Personal Data

Once your data is safely backed up, it’s time to head back into the screen you were previously on to disable find my iPhone. With this feature enabled you will be able to remotely lock your device, and most people will not buy it from you. To turn it off head back into Settings > Apple ID Banner > iCloud > Scroll Down to Find My iPhone > Toggle to Off. After completing this step, we will erase your entire phone, and all of it’s content and information.

  1. Launch the Settings app again from the home screen
  2. Tap on General
  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on Reset
  4. Tap on Erase All Content and Settings
  5. Tap on Erase iPhone
  6. Tap on Erase iPhone again to confirm
  7. Enter your Passcode, if applicable

Clean Up Your Phone’s Housing & Case

The iPhone XS and XS Max will sport a new A12 Processor that houses 8-Cores and process 5 trillion operations per second. As a company who understands computational processing, let me assure you that not only is this amazing, it’s overboard – and we love it!
